The MITX Awards celebrate the innovations powering the future of marketing and revolutionizing the way we work and play. Our work for the PF Flyers Sandlot App is up for the Most Innovative Digital Creative Award.
This spring, PF Flyers challenged us to create excitement around their collaboration with Fox Home Entertainment for the 20th anniversary re-release of The Sandlot and the release of a commemorative PF Flyers shoe. We turned to PF Flyers’s devoted Facebook community and developed a custom application to let fans get in the game. The PF Flyers Sandlot App allows fans to join the team and be immortalized on a custom baseball card for a chance to win the Limited Edition Sandlot Center Hi shoes, to take a quiz to discover which character they most resembled for a discount code redeemable at pfflyers.com, and to learn more about Fox Home Entertainment’s Sandlot screening tour across the US.
