GY&K is proud to announce that we are the recipients of four 2013 Aster Awards, three Gold and one Silver. The Aster Awards Program recognizes the nation’s most talented healthcare marketing professionals for excellence in advertising.
One of the Gold Awards was for our partnership with client Eastern Connecticut Health Network in creating and deploying a mobile application. The idea of ‘connections’ was the focus of ECHN’s brand campaign, so creating a mobile application made sense to help the community stay connected to ECHN’s health network. The basic objectives of the mobile app were to allow the community to:
- -Get health-related news
- -Watch videos directly from the ECHN video library
- -Find an ECHN location and get directions
- -Search and register for community programs and events
- -Keep track of/organize all health-related information
“This approach helped us generate awareness of the depth and breadth of services offered at ECHN as well as create convenient ways for the community to easily access information for all of their health needs,” said Travis York, GY&K President. “ECHN has always been a great partner, and we look forward to collaborating on more innovative programs in the future that will help them achieve their mission in the communities they serve.”
