RESPONSIBILITES:
• Be self-motivated, proactive, reliable, accountable, detail oriented and analytical
• Work collaboratively with client teams to guide strategic planning, leveraging client input, industry research and historic campaign knowledge to develop paid media strategies/plans across all clients and channels based on plan/campaign goals & objectives
• Define media strategy, approach, planning parameters, and measurement KPIs aligning with overall brand strategy for traditional and digital media channels
• Collaborate seamlessly with strategy, creative, account and project management teams for optimal flow of work and performance
• Exclusive management of tier 1 and 2 accounts, plus smaller accounts with little oversight
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and new business pitches
• Stay consistently relevant and up-to-date on all media trends and technologies across media channels; Must have a passion for exploring cutting edge media platforms
• Have outstanding organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail and follow up
• Explores and evaluates new media opportunities, platforms and new media strategically aligning with client goals. Strong negotiation skills
• Ongoing management of media flowcharts, spec documents and budget allocation/reconciliation, working closely with planners and specialists
• Provide effective benchmarks for measuring impact of campaigns and managing ROI expectations
• Support set up of online campaigns and tracking through GA, GTM and DCM
• Monitor, analyze, optimize, and educate based on campaign performance with recommendations on inventory, channel and creative shifts
• Develop, execute and present media plans from inception to completion and ensure plans deliver on client objectives, are strategic and meet efficiency goals
• Nurture/development of agency, client and media partner relationships

• Mentor junior team members within department and across agency

• Maintain the agency’s core values, professional standards and provide leadership to junior members of the media team and overall agency

SKILLS:
• 6+ years of agency experience planning and buying both traditional and digital channels across multiple verticals, with increasing responsibility (e.g., ad agency media department, media company or client side)
• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong strategic and analytical skills; Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines
• Expert proficiency in Doubleclick and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote)
• Knowledge of MRI, Kantar and Advantage a plus
